Launched in October of 2011, the screens feature patterns inspired by vintage textiles and are made from unfinished, stain-grade maple. They can be used as sliding doors, pocket doors, partitions, room dividers, interior shutters and hanging or mounted screens and come in a variety of standard sizes, as well as custom sizes.

ReplyDeleteI've been pining for one of their doors for some time now. I even did a post about choosing the style and color and decided on the Throckmorton in Mocha. Did you try their Door-O-Vision with a picture of your house? It's so cool!
DeleteOoops...I was on the Published Comments page and accidentally hit Delete instead of the title of the post...deleting John Bachman's comment. (That's the second time I've hit the wrong button on that page in a week! Preoccupied? Senility?) Anyway, John said he thought my house was for sale and one of the screens might not be to the buyers' taste and suggested I wait till I move into a new place.
ReplyDeleteI had toyed with the idea of moving to Dallas when the kids sold their house and moved there to open the store, but the drive has turned out not to be bad at all, and I love my little house so much that I really don't want to leave it, so I never even bothered to talk to a real estate agent about putting it on the market.
The beauty of these screens is that, because of they way they're framed, I think they could be installed for easy removal, and you could just take them with you when you moved.
And I was about to apologize, thought perhaps you didn't want to say you were moving. You could get a spring type devise that would allow you to move the screen around similar to a pole light. Darn! and I was going to pay top dollar for the house.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking about tension rods too...a pair for the top and the bottom, painted the color of the screen. And I'll remember what you said about top dollar if I ever do put the house on the market! :)
