Ignore the dust and the auction tags and the occasional cushion with stuffing showing. Pieces won't be moved into the store till they're perfect!

ReplyDeleteI want those tall brass and teak with the geometric design around the bottom!
DeleteOh my goodness Dana! Such awesome pieces. I love the black and white ceramic lamps, and the peachy coloured chairs in the background of the first photo. I want them!!x
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the warehouse yet to see all the new things, and I'm having a ball checking out everything too! :)
DeleteRace you to it Donna! Time to book our flights I reckon.
DeleteYou have a lovely workplace Dana!
Oh, by the way, that peachy set you see in the background is Adrian Pearsall, due to be reupholstered.
DeleteAnd, Pippa, just tell me when your plane lands at DFW. :)
Deletebeautiful lamps...loved the teak ones
ReplyDeleteMe too...I have such a thing for teak!
DeleteSuch gorgeous pieces, and such a wonderful space. And of course we noticed a small reupholstery project heading your way in the second photo?
ReplyDeleteYes, you did. That's mainly where we're going to house things awaiting refinishing or reupholstering, plus our more moderately priced items. However, there are a few pieces in there now that should be in the store, but we're waiting for several sold items to be picked up so we'll have space for them.
DeleteI love that 3 shaded fiberglass lamp! and That Sunburst clock I see hanging on a pilar!
ReplyDeleteI kinda thought you might spy that lamp and like it. :)
DeleteOh boy, the chrome-and-glass table lamp and the triple eyeball!
ReplyDeleteI think that chrome and glass table lamp is a knockout too!
DeleteI love that pair of retro floor lamps with the 3 lamps each. I have one exactly like them, only in a black and brass finish instead of the tan. I believe that I found those in an early 1960s Montgomery Ward catalog I have around here.
ReplyDeleteI have a black and also a tan one - Have seen them on the show PAN AM - knowing they were from Montgomery Ward explains why there are so many of them.
DeleteInteresting to know that those are Montgomery Ward lamps. That definitely does explain why they are fairly common.
DeleteI have also seen them in dark brown, but not nearly as often as the black and tan.
DeleteThese are all so retro cool. Hubby has a no more lamps (and no more chairs)rule at our house so it's nice just to be able to look and appreciate.
ReplyDeleteI've pretty much imposed a no more chairs rule for myself. In fact, I really need to take one or two to the warehouse and sell them.
DeleteIn the background of the pic with the nova triple arc lamp there is a large piece of furniture with three drawers and doors on top.It looks very interesting, I could picture it in Ron Burgundy's bedroom with a collection of after shave lotions and balms inside.
ReplyDeleteThat's a Lane chest that will be featured in a Made in America post in a few days. That's hilarious about it being in Ron Burgundy's bedroom. I'll think of that from now on every time I see that chest.
DeleteI had a consignor come in the other day with a very large and heavy marble base 3 globe arc that looks like yours except in gold plate. Stunning! We also received from the same consignor a 4 globe concentric ringed table lamp very similar to your pendant. Some of our consignores have great eyes and more time than I do to hunt. Looks like you are "lamped" up!!
ReplyDeleteYes, we love our consignors too. They make our lives so much easier, don't they?
