We can't provide the food and drinks, but we can definitely provide a set of cool outdoor chairs. Take a look at these Thinline of California wire chairs in a cheerful green that's bound to put everyone in a party mood. They didn't have cushions when we bought them, but if the new owner wants us to make some, we will be happy to do so. We think a nice marine grade vinyl in white would look perfect.

Mmmmm...Sangria! Not super manly but I loves it anyway. The patio chairs are interesting. Never seen those before. They have a little "Kagan Capricorn" influence in them, looks to me. God, what I wouldn't give to find a pair of cheap Capricorn Lounges!

I've always been a firm believer that saying you drink something that's an "acquired taste" means you repeatedly drank something that tasted awful because you thought it made you look cool. If the first sip doesn't taste good, I'm not taking a second...LOL

DeleteWhere did you find those chairs!? They remind me of Andy Warhol, for absolutely no reason. I live in New York and never see anything like these and I'm out hunting a lot. Very nice original find. I'll just have a lemonade if you're still at the bar mixing drinks.

DeleteThose chairs! I am in love. Of course if you have the muscle tone of the Pillsbury Dough Boy (not the new slimmed down one, either) like moi, you will HAVE to have cushions lest your end end up looking like play dough going through the Playdough fun factory!

DeleteLike everyone else, I LOVE the chairs. On a hot summer day you wouldn't even need cushions, but I could imagine that sitting on the bare metal might leave certain geometric imprints on one's backside...

The idea was so foreign to me before I began researching hair rats and collecting shed hair, so it's particularly fascinating for me to hear that you have a knowledge derived from "personal experience" as opposed to books or the internet.
My grandmother was born in 1902 and died in 1986, so I'm sure she must have told me about hair receivers sometime in the 60s when I spent a lot of summers with her. Of course, she and her sister wore their hair very long when they were teenagers, and they used hair rats as a foundation for their buns.

I wear my hair in a Gibson fairly often, so I may need to start a rat of my own. I hear they're really handy to make liberty rolls or to create "Betty Page bangs" if your hair is all one length.
