I was wondering about the dining room then I remembered that you opted to create a bar instead, which makes sense when you live by yourself, and also makes sense when you live alongside family. I'm sure you get together for meals sometimes.

The one thing I hated to give up was my Drexel Profile dining set and matching china cabinet, but there just wasn't room in the new apartment, and my daughter and SIL wanted a smaller set for the main house. I'm still trying to find a good home for it.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you real architects out there got a bit of a chuckle out of my crude, amateurish attempt at drawing floor plans. I'm just glad I had a contractor with an imagination. :) I have to say, though, that if I'm reincarnated, I hope it's as an architect.
