Zisha

I am always struck by the fact that the simplest designs can be the most beautiful. The Zisha tableware offered by Neri and Hu is no exception.

  2. Can there be such a thing as tableware envy? If so, I'm surely experiencing it.

  3. Ooh Yes, Ive had my eye on these Zisha pieces for some time...absolutely beautiful. The Zisha clay they are made of is unique in the world.....There is an Australian co. importing them too, but I cant find the name. The lacquer ware from Neri & Hu is also superb.

    2. I've read that the clay used for these beautiful pieces is deep underground, often under huge rock formations, and that the process of excavating it and then processing it is very time-consuming. I'll have to check out Neri & Hu's lacquer ware.
