I have never done a full post about Sol Bloom, because there seems to be little information about him available. From what I can gather, Bloom started his career as a window dresser. He was also a sculptor, and, much like Harry Bertoia and Isamu Noguchi, he designed a few pieces of furniture in the early 1950s. His work was sold by New Dimensions Furniture in California as part of a series called Modes for Moderns and consisted of mainly of metal mesh indoor/outdoor furniture with hairpin or straight legs.
Here is the Sol Bloom
Catch-All from the early 1950s that we have in our store.
