Mid-century home in Alamo, California

A gorgeous 1959 home with a breathtaking view is for sale in Alamo, California. Situated on 7 acres, this 4051 square foot home had 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It has soaring open-beam ceilings, a magnificent fireplace and huge walls of glass through which Mt. Diablo can be seen. The asking price is $1,700,000.

I haven't found a listing that names the architect, but it's a knockout design, no matter whose creation it is.

    1. It definitely looks like the type of house that should come with at least one movie star, doesn't it?

  4. Really looks like an Eichler architect... but who? Really perfect.

    1. It was listed by a realtor who specializes in Eichlers, so I was surprised that no architect was named.
