In the past, "pre-fab home" wasn't synonymous with "gorgeous," but today it can be. Take a look at this pre-fab beauty for sale in Emeryville, California, listed by Renee Adelmann and Ken Fox of East Bay Modern. Built in 2012, the 2083 sf home has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and is listed at $1,050,000.

Wow, it's gorgeous! But it's expensive for just two bedrooms...
ReplyDeleteI thought the price seemed a little high too, even for California. I guess that dispels the myth about pre-fabs being inexpensive too.
DeleteJust gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAre we really that surprised by the price? It's in a great location between Oakland and Berkely. Middle school nearby and easy access to the Oakland bridge into San Francisco. Most would call that prime real estate.
I confess to sticker shock when I look at real estate in other parts of the country/world. I'm accustomed to Texas real estate prices, which is unbelievably affordable by comparison.
