For kids: Eames House of Cards

Charles and Ray Eames took play seriously, and their most successful toy was a set of colorful cards that could be built into three-dimensional structures. The sets, created in 1952, are still being made and are available in small, medium and large sizes.

  1. Wow doesn't require batteries? Not sure kids today would know what to do.

    1. I'm actually thinking about getting my grandsons a set for Christmas. They are big Lego builders and love to see how tall they can make their towers. They've loved for me to make them cardboard "clubhouses" since they were toddlers, so I think they'd enjoy a House of Cards.
