(If you're wondering about my "candles," I'll admit that they were my one concession to the boys, who are a very active and curious pair. Because a tabletop tree got knocked off that very spot last year, I didn't want to take a chance with open flames, so I opted for a pair of LED candles. They're covered with wax, which makes them a little more like the real thing, and they flicker not-very-believably, which delights the boys. Most importantly, though, they're safe!)
Meanwhile, it's all rainbow, all the time everywhere else, but the grandsons are completely happy, so I am too.
Those glass trees are awesome! Where did you find them?
ReplyDeleteThey're called the Paz trees, and they come from CB2. There is a taller one in copper too, but I waited to long to order. Now those are only available in stores, and I'm nowhere near one of their locations. I could just kick myself!
DeleteI love how cheery your credenza looks! And ooooooooooo CB2 - I think I'm in love.
ReplyDeleteI doubt I could squeeze one more thing onto the credenza, but a grandma's gotta do what a grandma's gotta do to keep the kids happy. I love the CB2 trees too. I just wish I had ordered all three of them when I first saw them. :(
DeleteI love your mix match and thinking of what the holiday season must be... Please not a contest of who's decorating best...
ReplyDeleteThe trees are great but the bird is on my wish list since a long time. Did you get some of the vitra dolls last year, btw? Greetings, Ria
Ria, you're right that it means more to see the boys smile than to win any decorating contest! I've still got the Girard dolls on my wish list. Someday one will pop up at the right price.
DeleteIt's beautiful, Dana. Gotta keep those little ones happy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tina! As for the boys, they have me wrapped around their little fingers. What choice do I have? :)
