Since I mentioned Timo Sarpaneva in yesterday's
post, I thought you might like to see a veritable treasure trove of his work that I ran across recently while researching another topic. Oh, how I love serendipitous discoveries like this!
We've had our share of
Festivo over the years, but
Freeforms has a outstanding variety of pieces from which to choose, each lovely in its own right. I can't imagine having this much of Sarpaneva's work in the store at one time.

LOVE Freeforms, so much superb high quality pottery and glass...and such a great website too. Have been able to identify so many pieces from their site :)
ReplyDeleteI was really blown away by the size of their inventory. Amazing! I can see how it would be very helpful in identifying pieces.
DeleteI want it all, thankyou!
ReplyDeleteMe too! We need to start looking for a generous benefactor.
Deletevery beautiful glass work.
ReplyDeleteSarpaneva was so gifted. He's truly one of my favorites.
DeleteVery attractive, I especially like the idea of the stacking decanters.
ReplyDeleteI think those stacking decanters are extremely cool. I'd love to have a couple.
DeleteJust gorgeous, love the cased glass decanters, but it's all wonderful. The Finlandia is so unique looking too!
ReplyDeleteI love the delicate little spouts on the decanters. They're so sleek and lovely.
DeleteYou're enabling my art glass addiction here Dana! lol. Beautiful. All of it. xx
ReplyDeleteAs addictions go, this is definitely one of the best! :)
Deleteoh, how I love his work. I have one of the cased decanters in blue! It is gorgeous. It is part of my collection for now. I might need to find more of his work to keep it company :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I definitely think you need to find company for it! I take my job as the Glass Enabler very seriously. :)
