Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen

Tove (1906-1994) and Edvard (1901-1982) Kindt-Larsen were a Danish husband and wife design team. Both studied under Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The couple married in 1937 and opened their own studio in 1945.

They specialized in furniture design, although they both were architects. They also designed textiles for Gabriel in Fredericia and silverware for A. Michelsen.

Their best known architectural project was the home they designed for themselves in Klampenborg.

    1. A womb chair for $80 could be the find of a lifetime...or it could mean that you're one of the luckiest thrifters on earth, in which case there's no telling what treasures lie around the bend for you!

    1. I find many of their pieces quite elegant, and the coffee table with the laminate extensions is genius.
