Yesterday my page hits topped 1,000,000...and I couldn't have done it without each one of you.

Every single time you clicked on a link to open a post, you added to that count, whether you've been a reader since the first entry three years ago or you just discovered my blog three days ago.

Thank you for being instrumental in this blogging milestone.  You continue to honor me with your readership, and for that I'm very appreciative.

Finally...1000 posts

My first post on this blog was September 6, 2010, and until January of this year, I posted every day...rain or shine, in sickness or in health.  I would have hit the 1000th post quite some time ago, were it not for the four-month quasi hiatus I took while my apartment was being built. Three adults, a three-year-old, a two-year-old, a cat and a yard full of construction workers proved to be more chaos than I could deal with, and I had to post whenever I could find a quiet moment.

I started blogging daily again about a month ago, and I have to admit that it feels more normal to me than the sporadic posting did. As we say here in Texas, I'm back in the saddle again!
