A few days ago I saw a fabulous cabin featured on
Decoist, and I thought I'd share a few of the photos with you. To see the full article and more images, follow the link to the site. Not only is the cabin gorgeous, but it's full of beautiful furnishings, including quite a few choice mid-century pieces.
The cabin was designed by
BCV Architects and is located at Donner Summit in the Sierra Nevada range in California. It is called the Crow's Nest and is perched at 7,080 feet. I had to include at least one shot of snow for those of us in 100-degree-plus temperatures.

Exuberantly original, and such attention to detail!
ReplyDeleteThe detail in the woodworking alone is enough to make me love the place. The furnishings are icing on the cake.
DeleteSo fabulous! Now where did I put that winning lottery ticket? :)
ReplyDeleteWe can dream, can't we? :)
DeleteI wonder what their wood/furniture polish bill looks like...
ReplyDeletehaha I would not want that job!
DeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYes, every detail is amazing.
DeleteRight now, I'd even settle for the snow. :)
