ReplyDeleteThe Design District is what was originally the industrial district of Dallas, so many of the stores are converted warehouses. I love the look too. If you make it to Dallas, you absolutely must stop by so I can meet you!

DeleteYes! The store's looking really good. It looks spacious, with plenty of natural light coming in. Love the distressed flooring. What is that interesting piece in the background of the 4th picture? Is that a turntable with speakers on each side?

ReplyDeleteYou guys have some seriously beautiful pieces. If I lived in Dallas... I might just live in your store for hours and hours each day. (laughing).
We let our stock of smalls dwindle significantly before we left the Deep Ellum store, because we wanted to minimize loss, so now we have to start locating good pieces again. We have quite a bit of art that still needs to go up, and that will make the space look even better.

ReplyDeleteMaybe we should start looking for dragon costumes for the kids for Halloween! I think my SIL started to feel like he was living at the store this past week. He was putting in some crazy long hours with the move. By yesterday, he was really missing the family, and they've been out doing fun stuff all day. :)
