I keep thinking a time will come when I say, "It's done." A time when I can step back and look at my house and not want to do another thing to it. It will almost get to that point, and then I'll get an idea and run with it, and I'm practically back to Square One again.
That's where I am now. I'm on a quest for upholstery fabric for my sofa. I want something dark, like a brown or a charcoal, that has little flecks of orange and gold. I've ordered sample swatches of these:

More importantly, I've decided I want a Saarinen Womb Chair in orange. I don't know how long it will take me to find an original in good condition that I can afford. I'm known for being impatient, so I'll probably buy an affordable reproduction to use as a "placeholder" till that fantastic bargain rolls around.

In the meantime, it's back to bed for me. I've been out of commission for a couple of days now with the world's worst head cold/upper respiratory thing/flu, and I don't want you to catch it.
