The latest issue of Atomic Ranch has begun arriving in homes, so it's time to announce the opening of my daughter's new Etsy store, which is called
fabpats. (You can also visit her
website.)
What are
fabpats? They're fabulous prints of the original patent application renderings of your favorite mid-century designs. The prints come in black, magenta, cyan, orange or green pigmented ink on fine art quality 8 x 10 archival paper
.
The prints sell for $40, and we will be carrying them framed and matted in the store...and soon on Etsy...for $85. In addition to the ones shown below, you can also buy prints of the classic Knoll sofa and a Jens Risom armchair. Fabpats look fantastic hung singly or in groups.

Love them! The coloured inks are fab...will have a good look at the etsy store!
ReplyDeleteI made a pair of these for my daughter and SIL for Christmas, and they loved them so much that my daughter decided to start making them herself and open an Etsy store. She sold one the first day her store opened. :)
DeleteThese are going to do great! Tell her to submit her shop to Fab.com, they are a great online store that features small designers and stores all over the world. This looks to be right up their alley. If you don't contact them, I'm going to send them the link!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! I look at Fab.com every day, but I hadn't thought about her submitting her shop to them. Thanks for suggesting that.
DeleteThis is a perfect example of what great "idea people" come up with. I applaud you. What a fabulous idea.
Deletehere's the submission link. Good luck, although I don't think your going to need it. It's a great idea that your daughter put together!

This is a great idea! I can see these all hung together down a long hallway. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great look. We're going to hang a large group of them on the back wall of our store.
DeleteThese are really nice...I may have to peruse the Etsy site just to have one in our store...
ReplyDeleteI think people are really going to be happy with them. She just negotiated a paper upgrade with her printer today...some super snazzy German cotton paper. She isn't scrimping on anything.
DeleteThese look great, and what a wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteThey look so good in person! I think they will be a very popular item in our store.
DeleteGreat idea, they look amazing. I especially like the choice of ink colors.
ReplyDeleteI think my daughter did a stellar job on these. I have a perfect spot for an orange one in my house. Now I just have to figure out which chair I want. I'm leaning in the direction of the Platner.
