Kolb lamp...gone in a flash

Before I even had time to post about it, this light fixture by Otto and Ridi Kolb was sold. Otto Kolb was a Swiss architect, and his wife Ridi was an Austrian interior designer. Their company, Kolb Lighting Co., produced, according to one of their ads, "table, floor and wall lamps of unusually fine proportions."

This beautiful brass and enameled metal piece has three three adjustable cones having bulbs at both ends.
