Augusto Bozzi

I don't usually hit a wall when looking for biographical information on a designer, even if I just find just a sentence or two. Augusto Bozzi's life story has turned out to be far more elusive than most. So far, I haven't turned up a word about him, nor have I found a single photograph of the man.

Nevertheless, I have found enough images of his work to know that I love his designs, with their clean lines and skinny steel legs. If you know anything about Bozzi, please share!

  2. Very cool sofa. It should look great in orange too.

Slightly off-topic, have you seen this:

    1. That was a fascinating article. When I saw a retro Crosley radio with a docking station...and when my wristwatch needed a new crystal and I realized the watch had become superfluous...a few skeletal thoughts along these lines started to rattle around in my head. I enjoyed reading someone else's fleshed-out ideas on the subject. The article gives me much more to think about.

  3. I started drooling from the first pic and couldn't stop! They all look like they're suspended in air!

    1. Oh, I agree. The way the seats are suspended above those skinny legs makes them look almost weightless.

    1. The bases are what captivated me at first, but now I'm falling in love with the wonderful curve of all the seats.

  7. We've also featured several pieces by Bozzi - his shapes are simply wonderful - and seem to recall drawing a similar blank with regards the designer himself, other than he's a man of mystery!
