Just an old rocker at heart
Having been a college student in the 1960s, I've been to my share of Led Zeppelin concerts, so "old rocker" is an apt description of me.

She's a beauty! I have a soft spot for rockers, they soothe both man and baby alike! Have a wee rock for me!
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that the scientific/medical community has never fully understood why rocking has such a calming effect on humans, but it seems to be one of our basic instincts. And since we all seem to enjoy it, we might as well do it in style! :)
DeleteGorgeous piece. Love the cushions.x
ReplyDeleteThat back cushion really is great. I never would have thought to shape one that way, which is why I'm not a designer, I guess. :)
DeleteShe is a pretty little girl. And the teak. Danish, yes? I can't part with a rocker that my mom gave me. Used to rock me and my sister to sleep.
ReplyDeleteYes, Danish through and through. You're so lucky to have that piece of family history. I don't blame you for not wanting to let it go.
