The Singing Fish

Kylie from Lucy Violet Vintage wanted to know more about the print in my recent post about the gifts my daughter and SIL gave me for my new apartment.

It's The Singing Fish by Joan Miró, and in that photo, it's leaning upside down against IKEA boxes. I'm happy to announce that it has found a new home in the bedroom my new modernist nest.

Yes, I'm finally moved in,
and decorating has commenced!!!

Photos will be coming very soon, I promise. Just call me The Singing Dana, because I'm definitely doing a happy song and dance routine here as I unpack boxes.

    1. The unpacking is going slowly, because as I'm moving my things out, Jenn and Joe are moving theirs in, and we're helping each other...but it will get done.

  5. Me too!!! I'm sure It's gonna be amazing! It sounds like you're happy with the result? I'm so thrilled!
Your Miro print is beautiful. If you are ever in Barcelona, I sooo recommend The Fondacion Miro. Full of great Miro pieces, obviously, but also some really challenging art from the 60s and 70s, as well as Calder's spectacular Mercury fountain!

    1. We're waiting on a special lumber order to come in so my contractor can build the cedar overhang...and then we landscape...and then the reveal. I almost have the inside decorated. :)
