In addition to fine art and sculpture by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, Andy Warhol, David Hockney and Ed Ruscha, I found furniture and ceramics that went straight to my To Die For list. Take a look and see if you don't agree.

We already have several pieces similar to other auction items, but they aren't in the store yet, because they're being restored. Here are the auction pieces. Stay tuned to see ours when they're ready.

I'll start digging since I want every single piece shown. We have the ICFF coming here this month. I've been anticipating it for months. Have fun if you go!
ReplyDeleteThe ICFF should be lots of fun. Have a ball!
DeleteThe images on your blog are like junkers eye candy. Love every visit.
ReplyDeleteIt's really kinda frightening how addictive this furniture can be! :)
DeleteThe George Nakashima sofa has a modern spin to a Mission Style look to it. I like it.
ReplyDeleteI love his benches and tables too. Such natural ruggedness, yet so refined.
DeleteI only just Googled George Nakishima now. Totally same idea as the tables I saw last week at the Market. So simple and elegant, highlighting the raw materials and not the man made fabric and other materials that are so common
DeleteWhen I saw your post about the tables at the Market, I figured you'd admire Nakashima's work.
DeleteWhere did I put that winning lottery ticket?? These are all gorgeous pieces and all so far out of my budget, I'm sure!!
ReplyDeleteYes, all these pieced will go for a pretty penny, I'm sure.
DeleteDoesn't every Texan have an oil well?
ReplyDeleteThese days, it's gas wells...LOL
