Open for business

Our new location at 1130 Dragon Street #140 in the Dallas Design District is now officially open for business. We've been moving out of the pop-up shop all week, and with the exception of some art to hang and some smalls to put on tabletops, everything is done.

If you're local, we invite you to come out, take a look around and visit with Joe Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 till 6:00. If you're not local, we just have two words for you: Visit Dallas!

    1. The Design District is what was originally the industrial district of Dallas, so many of the stores are converted warehouses. I love the look too. If you make it to Dallas, you absolutely must stop by so I can meet you!

  3. Yes! The store's looking really good. It looks spacious, with plenty of natural light coming in. Love the distressed flooring. What is that interesting piece in the background of the 4th picture? Is that a turntable with speakers on each side?

    1. Sorry I didn't include captions. I've remedied that. The stereo in the background is an Electrohome Circa 75. For more information, here's a link to a blog devoted to that line:

  4. Congrats! The space is awesome. Love all the light, the windows, the concrete floor, the way everything is displayed.... perfection!
You guys have some seriously beautiful pieces. If I lived in Dallas... I might just live in your store for hours and hours each day. (laughing).

    1. We let our stock of smalls dwindle significantly before we left the Deep Ellum store, because we wanted to minimize loss, so now we have to start locating good pieces again. We have quite a bit of art that still needs to go up, and that will make the space look even better.

ROAD TRIP is what I say to you, woman! We're not that far away from you. :)

    1. Maybe we should start looking for dragon costumes for the kids for Halloween! I think my SIL started to feel like he was living at the store this past week. He was putting in some crazy long hours with the move. By yesterday, he was really missing the family, and they've been out doing fun stuff all day. :)
