Another Eichler in San Rafael

A exceptionally beautiful 4 bedroom/3 bath Eichler has recently gone on the market in San Rafael, California. This spacious 2118 square foot home has beam ceilings, walls of glass, working radiant heat, a large foyer and kitchen, and a beautifully landscaped yard. The house is listed at $915,000.

  1. Well glad you can't see the front door from the street. For that much money the stove exhaust duct should be white or stainless steel. Amazing how a concrete floor and a few wood posts and beams and no brick that really isn't a lot of material can cost so much. Location, location, location.

    1. San Rafael does seem to be one of the desirable locations in the Bay Area.

    2. San Rafael is an amazing place to live, close to San Francisco as well as the ocean, wine country and more. There are many Eichler homes in the area. The Marin County Civic Center is also in San Rafael and was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
I attended an estate sale at this home and it is beautiful and open inside. It is unfortunately a very expensive area to purchase a home, Eichler or otherwise.

  2. The first thing I thought of was how wrong the front door looks - just like John did.
I have been quite sick Dana so I haven't been up to much commenting but I just want to say I love the space you've chosen for your new shop - it's right up my alley - and I hope it's a roaring success when it opens xxx

    1. I'm thinking the front door is yellow and is hidden behind that tallest shrub on the right. I don't know why they didn't cut it down before the photo shoot. It's odd that someone planted something there that would get tall enough to hide the door.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been sick. I hope you're feeling better now.

I think we're going to be extremely happy about the location of the new store. I'm glad you like the spot.
