I found another chair to crush on, but was not meant to be mine. It's the open
A-Frame arm chair #5480 by Edward Wormley for Dunbar. My SIL posted photos of it on our
Facebook page on Wednesday when he put it on the floor. I love its elegant curves, its gorgeous cane back and brass sabots and its beautiful alligator upholstery. Apparently, someone else loved it as much as I do, because it sold yesterday, just as soon as people realized we had it.

ReplyDeleteOK...this is getting silly. This is the second time in the last few months that I've accidentally deleted a comment. Pippa said she agreed about this chair, and it looked as if you could sit back and sip your G&T in it and watch the world go by.
DeleteI'd probably better sit (and sip) fast if I'm going to, because the new owner is sending a delivery service to pick it up today. :(/:) (Selling beautiful things is such a double-edged sword!)

DeleteI don't know if it's the same for you but I get a copy of all comments sent to my e-mail. Even if an author deletes their comment before I get a chance to see it, I have a copy of it forever in my "in box". Should o ever accidentally delete a comment I can easily retrieve the text a preposterous it as a quote in my own comment. I just wish I had more time to REPLY to comments!
