I thought I'd give you a few hints about the changes that are going to take place by showing you a mood board I put together. Some of the items are things I already had. Some are already ordered, and some are on my wish list and will be ordered as soon as I sell a few things on Craigslist.
I plan a clock wall behind my sofa, a rug that's a real departure from my usual taste in floor coverings, several new pillows, and some major rearranging of art, ceramics and glass pieces throughout the house..
Yesterday I finished redecorating my bedroom while waiting for living room items to come in. I have big plans for the grandsons' playroom and, at long last, my kitchen. I'll be sharing those projects with you soon.

ReplyDeleteI'm in a redecorating frenzy, so there will be LOTS of changes. In fact, just about every room will be completely redone...LOL
Deleteloved each and every piece on the moodboard..cant wait to see the room all done :)
ReplyDeleteI've taken pictures of the bedroom already, but I'm going to wait till everything is done to do the official "unveiling." :)
Deletei LOVED the chair on your moodboard ((the last one)! I know how exciting though difficult is to redecorate a house! We still haven't finish ours! I am sure it is going to look fab when you're done with it!!! Kisses, Foivi
ReplyDeleteAlthough most of my furniture is vintage, the last chair is a concession to sheer comfort. It's an Ekornes, and sitting in it is pure heaven.
DeleteOh my gosh, this is so exciting! I cannot wait to see your clock wall. And the "Eames" bird - what a beautiful, iconic piece!
ReplyDeleteI think the clock wall is going to be fun...and I've wanted an Eames house bird forever!
Delete*SOUNDS very exciting* Changing things around and re-decorating always makes things feel new and fresh. I like your idea of the clock wall.
