However, after going to the doctor Tuesday and getting tons of prescriptions, she and my SIL put in a punishing days Wednesday and yesterday and got finished. Even before the dust had settled and all the furniture was arranged, they were making sales, which indicates that customers have missed being able to drop by the store.
They used Instagram to let Facebook followers know they were open for business, even though the floor hadn't been set yet. |
When they closed up last night, the floor was set. |
Look at all those amazing pieces! I'm not surprised people came running. Hope it continues to go well :) Kx
ReplyDeleteI'll post more photos tomorrow of some of our most recent vintage finds. We're also expanding our inventory of new modern furniture. Thanks for wishing us well.
DeleteOh Dana, I would love to live in Texas, only for visiting the shop. You have great furniture. The chairs and the coffeetable and the teak console and and and. I wish we would have such a nice shop here in the middle of nowhere in Germany...
ReplyDeleteWish you all the best for you and your daughter!
I'm so glad you like what you can see of our inventory. My daughter is working on a brand new website for the store with an e-commerce feature so you can buy online. I'll announce the launch of the site on the blog. We plan to ship internationally. :)
DeleteIf I could pop in, I would.
ReplyDeleteWe need to plan an Austrailia-to-Texas junket! I would love to meet you!!!
DeleteHey, can they junket over to Southern California too? :)
DeleteLove a pop up shop! Good to hear sales are already being made.
ReplyDeleteHope you are all on the mend in the health department soon.
Sick or not, I think we're all excited about having a store open again.
DeleteMy daughter is on several prescriptions for her sinus infection, and I just got back from the drug store after stocking up on more OTC cough medicine, so we'll be better soon. Being sick is such an inconvenience though!
