Max Sauze |
Sauze is best known for his lighting design, but he also designed furniture and created sculptures. He worked on the multiplication of form. From a base which is replicated out in all dimensions, his structures took form referencing the process of life.
He designed an extensive line of lighting in the 1970s, and again in 2000. He is recognized internationally for his work and has been exhibited extensively.

The pendant lamps are stunning.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I find his lamps his most interesting work. I'd love to have that Orion lamp!
DeleteStunning Pendant lamps...I wish I had light fittings to fit such magical pieces of sculpture instead of the boring quartz hallogen downlights which seem to be in every house built in the past 20 years
ReplyDeleteYou chose the perfect word to describe his lamps. They truly are magical, and they would definitely give a house a personality all its own.
