The store is awash with light these days. We recently got in several floor lamps, a desk lamp and a George Nelson saucer bubble light fixture that we won at auction...all vintage and all fantastic. Here are a few of them.

Always love the shots of your shop - so many lovely things, and that triple eyeball lamp is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteIf I ever move to Dallas, I'm coming by to drop in a job application. I'll accept payment in the form of mid-century modern.
ReplyDeleteI've got my eyes on that triple eyeball! I love it! I want your job! How do you feel about cooking for a group of feisty seniors? Shall we trade for awhile?? Didn't think so.
ReplyDeleteI want that dresser in the background of the first photo! You have such great stuff - why don't I live close enough to come buy it?
ReplyDelete@chairsmith: My SIL will soon be doubling the size of the store (or perhaps even moving to a new location that would triple the size), so I hope there will be even more lovely things before long!
ReplyDelete@Nick: If it's any incentive to move, I think my SIL may be looking for someone to hire in the near future. ;)
ReplyDelete@Midcenturymadam: My job description is about to include "upholsterer" soon. My business card at the time reads "Buyer, Blogger and Babysitter." You have to be a jill-of-all-trades to fill these shoes...LOL
ReplyDelete@Kristal: How about a road trip with a U-Haul trailer? :)
ReplyDeleteThe triple eyeball is fab but I still can't get my eyes off that chrome-framed African wood desk in the background of the last pic.
ReplyDelete@I dream lo-tech: I agree that the Protzman desk is a stunner.
