In 1979 Bjarne Omann took over the company from his father and expanded the line to include office furniture. In 2005 Ulrich Omann took over leadership of the company from his father Bjarne Omann.
From what I've been able to determine, the most collectible of the company's vintage furniture was designed by family member Gunni Omann, although I've been unable to find any biographical information about him. Apparently, he most frequently designed casegoods for the company, as seen here.
