In the store (or warehouse): So.Much.Stuff.

Just in time for the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, which starts today, in rolled an amazing load of furniture from the East Coast! About 100 pieces, to be exact. In this post, I'm only going to whet your appetite with a photo of one thing, but I will tell you that there will be many more photos to come (depending on what sells over the weekend)...a Kai Kristiansen sofa, an Ib Kofod-Larsen seating group, a Harry Bertoia Diamond chair and ottoman, a couple of Milo Baughman lounger chairs, some Paul McCobb Irwin Collection and more Broyhill Brasilia, just to scratch the surface and tease a bit more.

So here is the first piece that's made it from our warehouse to the floor of the store.

50th Anniversary Commemorative Eames lounge chair and ottoman
Commemorative medallion

The 50th Anniversary Special Edition was issued by Herman Miller in 2006 and featured a medallion affixed to the bottom. The commemorative set came in santos palisander, cherry, natural cherry and walnut, with die-cast aluminum back braces and base, 6-inch cushions and luxurious leather upholstery.

If you're local (or if you decide to throw a few things in a bag and take an impromptu road trip), be sure to join the festivities in Deep Ellum this weekend, and look for our new warehouse, which will be open to the public during the Arts Festival. The warehouse is located at 2656 Main Street, just a few blocks from the store, which is at 2928 Main. We're gearing up for all the fun, and we hope you are too!

    1. Yes, Texas would be a bit of a hike for you, but I'll hold you to the promise to stop by when you take the cross country trip. :)

    1. We were told that the moped dealer two stores down from us sold every scooter on the floor last year, so it promises to be a very busy weekend. My daughter has taken off work today to help, and it will be all hands on deck tomorrow.
