Joseph Gordon designed home
I thought I'd share another treat from Douglas Newby's site Architecturally Significant Homes. Newby's firm sells some of the most spectacular mid-century real estate in the Dallas area. If you haven't checked out his site, please do. It never disappoints.

Very neat house. I wonder what the floor plan looks like.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the plans too. It looks like an efficient use of space.
DeleteI'm blown away by all the light, that alone would be decoration enough for me.
ReplyDeleteI love the use of textured glass on the upper windows. It allows for some beautiful filtered light without too much glare. That's very important here in Texas, especially during our seemingly endless days of blindingly bright, hot summers.
DeleteI could totally see you living in that house, Dana.
ReplyDeleteMe too...in my dreams, the ones where I'm rich. :)
DeleteLooks like the kitchen and bath cabinets were updated and actually fit in with the house design unlike so many you see.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first saw the photos, I thought maybe the kitchen and the built-ins in the hall were original and the bathroom vanity was built to match, but they may all be new. Either way, you're right. They're perfect for the house.
DeleteDrool, Dana! I love how much space there is!
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy roaming around in all that beautiful space!
DeleteI am absolutely, totally smitten with this MCM. I love the kitchen and bath renovations, and this house is loaded with clerestory windows and floor to ceiling glass that look out onto beautifully landscaped grounds (does it back up to a greenbelt??). I just can't get enough!!
ReplyDeleteI agree that the kitchen and bath renovations are remarkable. I don't know if it backs up to a greenbelt or if it's on a very large lot that has only been partially cleared.
